Assessment Services Available for Professional Referral
When referring patients or clients for independent evaluation, referring providers can trust that every assessment is customized to address the specific diagnostic questions raised. Available referral services include:
- Psychoeducational Testing: In-depth evaluations examining cognitive processing, academic achievement across reading, writing, and mathematics, executive functioning, and learning strengths to guide school accommodation planning (504 Plans and IEPs).
- Autism Assessment Services: Specialized developmental profiling featuring gold-standard observational tools, including the ADOS-2 (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule), combined with structured developmental interviews and adaptive behavior rating scales.
- ADHD Assessment Services: Targeted evaluations measuring attention regulation, impulse control, working memory, processing speed, and behavioral function to differentiate attention deficits from primary learning or emotional factors.
- Learning Disability Assessment Services: Comprehensive evaluations designed to identify specific learning disorders, including Dyslexia (reading), Dysgraphia (written expression), and Dyscalculia (mathematics).
How to Submit a Professional Referral
To maintain strict client confidentiality and comply with applicable privacy standards, ANCKRD utilizes secure communication channels for all professional referral materials.
Referring providers are encouraged to submit relevant background documentation to assist in the evaluation process, including:
- Clinical intake notes or primary care office Visit Summaries.
- Relevant medical, developmental, or therapy progress reports (e.g., SLP or OT evaluations).
- School records, prior testing results, or current 504/IEP documentation if applicable.
- Specific diagnostic or functional questions to be addressed during the assessment.
Referral documentation can be transmitted directly through our secure fax system or approved secure communication channels.
Communication and Continuity of Care
ANCKRD values collaborative relationships with referring medical and clinical professionals. With appropriate client consent, our team maintains open lines of communication with referring providers to ensure continuity of care.
Following the completion of an evaluation, clients receive a comprehensive written report explaining diagnostic findings, cognitive profiles, and practical recommendations. Findings can be shared directly with referring physicians, therapists, or school teams to ensure clinical treatment plans, therapy goals, and school accommodations align seamlessly.
Fee Transparency and Insurance Information
ANCKRD operates as a private pay, out-of-network provider and does not submit claims directly to health insurance carriers. Billed at a predictable hourly rate of $150, comprehensive evaluations typically range between $1,500 and $2,400, with most complete profiles falling between $1,800 and $1,950. Every client receives a personalized Good Faith Estimate prior to scheduling.
For families pursuing potential out-of-network reimbursement from their health insurance carrier, ANCKRD provides itemized superbills upon request following service completion.
